After breakfast leave for northern Uganda. On the way, do rhino tracking and have lunch, then proceed to Gulu for our night – it is a long journey to reach Kidepo Valley national park.

Drive time: 7 hours

Meals: Lunch and dinner at Boma Hotel.

Day 2: Leave For Kidepo

After breakfast, leave for Kidepo. While on the drive, enjoy the scenic views of the Karamajong people as you cross seasonal rivers. Arrive at Kidepo after a break. Enjoy an evening game drive for about 3-4 hours.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Mid-range stay at Savannah Lodge, budget Apoka Rest Camp

Day 3: Off For The Game Drive

Wake up, call, and then start your game drive! A lot of game: elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, birds. Kidepo Valley has permanent water points, so many animals come to the valley to drink. This is home to the largest herd of buffaloes. Also on this of the planet, you have the chance to spot the big cats, as well as cheetahs. Return to the lodge, and thereafter an evening game drive.

Day 4: Extra Game Drive

After breakfast, go for an extra game drive to trace what is missing on the list. Kidepo is one of the parks that will quench your wildlife thirst. After a lunch break, we will proceed near the South Sudan border. Now head over to the hot springs with chances to see the biggest flightless bird – the ostrich, as well as seasonal rivers. Return to the lodge – stay at Savannah Lodge or Apoka Rest Camp.

Day 5: Drive To Murchison Falls

After breakfast, drive from Kidepo to Murchison Falls park Uganda. There is a lot to see in the park. As you also cross on a ferry, it is possible to see the big cats. Stay at Fort Murchison or Red Chilli (for budget).

Day 6: Meet The Grazers

After breakfast, go for an early game drive. This is the best time for animals to feed. Now you have the chance to spot everything: buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, hippos, antelopes and more. After the game drive, we will have our lunch or prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. You will have the opportunity to see water birds, crocodiles, hippos, and land mammals that come for a drink. Return to the lodge, thereafter; Budget Fort Murchison (tented rooms) or Red Chilli, Mid-range Fort Murchison Bandas or Pakuba Lodge.

Day 7: Leave For Entebbe

Have breakfast, and leave for Entebbe. In case we didn’t do rhino tracking on the first day, we will stop to track the rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and then proceed to the airport. End of trip!
